She Shines
She Loves
She Lives
Woman of white
Shining so bright
Open your heart
And reach into the night
Out there in the darkness
Is the one
You should be with tonight
Released from your pain
And erasing the past
Together you can regain
Your love of life
Together your fears can be banished
And your dreams completed
Dark Night.
It was in the night
The stars shone bright
All across the liquid sky
The man rode out
On his steed of black
Searching for what was right
And in that night, so dark and quiet
He heard an echo calling him
So off he rode into the night
To meet with the one who shone so bright
Polarity.
From God to Goddess
From male to female
From yes to no
From high to low
From first to last
From black to white
From dark to night
From wrong to right
In all the world are these
But they together exist
Never one without the other
Never alone, never in isolation
Complementary, interdependent
Coexistent, bonded
Trinity.
He stood and watched
As the night was lit up
With a light so bright
Like no one had seen before
The air was shook
By a sound so thunderous
He thought the world was over
What had we done ?
What dragon had we awoken ?
Could we control it ?
Or would it destroy us ?
These things he could not answer
But one thing he knew
After this night
The world had changed forever.
Ground Zero.
See the blasted land
Ruined by man's hand
On that fateful morning
One plane flew
They thought it was just observing
And in a way it was
To see if this new killing device
Would kill like none before
They where right
In a split second
More where killed
Than ever before
And all this to end a war
Differences.
When did it all begin ?
When will it all end ?
We are beings of light and love
Why do we need to fight
Beneath the stars above ?
What has happened to us ?
Where did we all go wrong ?
When we have more in common
Than that which sets us apart
We have to start to see this
Before our differences
Cause us to pull that plug
One fateful time again.
